  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For added depth of flavor.
  • 2-3 cups ice Use more for a thicker texture.

Method

Preparation
  1. Juice the Oranges: Squeeze the juice from the oranges until you have about one cup.
  2. Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the fresh orange juice, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend on medium speed until well mixed.
  3. Add Ice: Toss in 2 to 3 cups of ice. Blend again until the mixture is smooth and frothy.
  4. Taste and Adjust: Give your Orange Julius a tasting. If it’s not sweet enough, add a bit more sugar and blend again.
  5. Serve Immediately: Pour into glasses and enjoy!

Notes

For a twist, consider adding a banana or a handful of strawberries for extra flavor. Your homemade Orange Julius is best enjoyed fresh.
